We believe in preventative care, rather than interventive care.

We believe that when parents are properly educated and prepared for childbirth it can be an exciting memorable experience for them, bringing them closer together as a couple and family.

We believe in the parents right to choose the caregiver and place of birth in which to have their baby.

We believe that when parents are given accurate information, the vast majority of them are capable of making the best decision regarding the circumstances for the birth of their baby.

We believe that excellent nutrition and supplementation during pregnancy makes a measurable difference in the health of both mom and baby.

We believe that most episiotomies are unnecessary and that gently breathing the baby’s head out will prevent the need for such procedure.

We believe that there is a tremendous need for excellent doctors and hospitals.  We are not “anti-doctor” or “anti-hospital”.  We are thankful for wise, sensitive doctors and hospitals.  We never hesitate to refer to a physician or to transport to a hospital when necessary.

We believe that the growing baby in mother’s womb is a human child.  No matter what the circumstances are outside of the womb.  We do not believe that the baby deserves to die for it.  We are pro-life.  However, we believe that moms who may have made mistakes in the past need grace and compassion, not condemnation.
