Birth Pool Rental

NOTE: Advanced booking is suggested for assurance of pool availability at time of due date

$120 Rental Fee -
PLUS - $30 Disposable Liner, $100 Refundable Deposit ($250 total)

Rental Fee Includes: Pool, Air Pump, Water removal pump, Liner, Instructional CD and Plastic Tarp Floor Protector.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The pool is available for pickup 2 weeks prior to due date (38 weeks gestation), and is to be packed and returned to the birth center within 3 days after your birth. There is a $10 a day late fee for every day after the third day.

This is NOT a swimming pool or toy for your children. Please keep children and pets away from pool.

Prepare the floor where the pool will be (sand, vacuum, sweep thoroughly to remove sharp objects or surfaces).

Cover the floor with a plastic sheet (included in rental) or cloth first. Place your purchased liner in pool before filling pool (liner required for use).

Pool takes about 10 minutes to inflate using the pump. Once the pool is inflated, remove the pump from the pool area and do not add air with the pump once the pool is filled with water, due to the risk of electrical shock.

Do not heat water above 100°F. Do NOT use a heater of any type in or around the pool.

Take care when handling the pool. We advise against moving the pool between rooms when inflated to avoid unnecessary wear & tear.

Remove jewelry prior to using the pool.

After emptying water and removing liner, please use to disinfectant to clean/wipe down the inside of the pool and deflate it.The pool is designed with 3 independent air chambers so that if one chamber punctures, 2/3 of the height of the sides remains, causing considerably fewer problems than if a single- chambered pool is punctured.
